Diyarbakır's Club
Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Kulübü traces its roots to 1972 in Diyarbakır. Playing home matches at the 33,000-capacity Diyarbakır Stadium, the club spent years in the lower divisions before earning promotion to reach the Süper Lig for the first time ever in 2026-27.
Entering the 2026-27 Season
Belgian coach Besnik Hasi, previously in charge at Anderlecht, was appointed head coach on a deal covering both the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons. His task is building a squad capable of staying in the top flight, with reinforcements added before the transfer window closed on 4 September 2026.
